Make New Friends, But Keep the Old

I remembered this post title from Janell's blog a while back and it's been running through my head a lot lately. I've been so blessed to make "new" friends along the way, but haven't done a very good job of keeping the "old".

Recently I was able to find one of my good friends from my college years, Kim. We worked at Kinko's together and had some really fun times. Just a few of them: Our shift was from 3-11pm and we would often go out after work, usually to Applebee's (yum!) for 1/2 price appetizers. Kim came to visit me while I was going to NAU and we went to Salt Lake City together for Spring Break one year. Kim's also the one who first told me about the new guy at Kinko's, who took over my position while I was in Flagstaff, who I ended up marrying! Thanks for the memories Kim!

All dressed up for Halloween and we're stuck at work! We still had fun!

Kim's sister, Jamie, also worked at Kinko's with us. Do you just love the ties?!

I have to say that the ponytails, the costume, and of course, the tie are quite lovely on you:) Very fun....isn't it great to have friends! Thanks for being a great one...oh, and I love the picture below of McKay's hair...we always ask our kids if they look like that in the morning if the hair fairy visited them in the night. The other morning, we asked Eliza, and she responded, "I AM the hair fairy" Ha! Looks like McKay got a little visit from the hair fairy, or Eliza, perhaps!

Okay...I DO know Kim! I just had to see a picture of her! How fun! DO you dread being called to the library at church since you worked at Kinko's? Man I love that place!:)
