My mom and sister, Lara, came over just in time to help us out. The boys were excited to help put the springs on too.

The side Parker's working on in this picture is slightly bowed out away from the trampoline. We had to pull extra hard to get the springs on and used a tip from the trampoline man to use another spring to pull back with. It worked like a charm!

Dallin and McKay were so excited each time they were able to get a spring on. I was impressed by their determination, some of the springs were really hard to do.
In this corner of the trampoline the pipe frame had completely rusted through. We took the frame off to put dirt underneath the trampoline and when we went to put it back on, it was so weakened that it broke. Luckily, my dad was able to buy a piece of pipe and shape it to match the angle that we needed. Then on Saturday he came over and welded it in place. Thanks for you help Dad!

The boys couldn't wait to get back on the trampoline after the springs were on (click on the picture to see their faces). We had to keep telling them to stay off while we put the pads in place. Finally it was done and we let them at it. They played outside the rest of the afternoon, after I reminded them that no toys (or rakes!) were allowed on the trampoline. I don't want to have to replace that mat for a long time!

What great helpers. Let's just hope that they remember the no toys rule :)
Glad you got it done. I'm feeling the same way about my bike - why didn't I get it MONTHS ago?? It's starting to get hot!
You're family is sooooo cute!! Love you guys!! :)
I love the pictures of the boys helping. Hopefully all that hard work will help them remember not to have toys on the tramp. They look so happy bouncing on it!
