Changes, Changes

Do you notice anything different about Parker? That's right, his first pair of glasses. We went back to the eye doctor two weeks ago and found that his vision had changed slightly. His right eye was doing more work than the left. So, we've started down the never ending path of frames and lenses. Hopefully we won't be replacing any lost or broken glasses soon!

Another change that I'm really loving is this new carpet in our family room. I had it custom cut and bound so that it fits perfectly into our space. It is so soft and the boys love laying on it to watch tv or wrestle. I also love that it keeps the couch in place so that I'm not constantly having to move it back where it belongs and it hides the plywood that we put in when we removed the fireplace. I'm so thankful to my mom and dad for the Christmas money that we used toward this carpet, I know it will be enjoyed for a long time.

We also planted a dwarf peach tree in the backyard that we received as a Christmas gift from my parents. We're hoping to get some yummy peaches in the next few years. Aaron would really like to add an apple and another type of fruit tree in the front yard but that will be down the road a little ways.

And just today we started getting ready for the baby by putting the crib and changing table together. I still need to get the baby clothes and nursery organized and buy the cloth diapers that I'm going to use. (Yes, I said cloth!) In just over seven weeks our little bundle will arrive and we'll be seeing more changes for sure!

Ahhh, doesn't it feel so good to get things done and ready for the baby. I was stressing out about all the things that had to be done before Fred was born but once I wrote it down and made a list I realized it wasn't really that much and it felt great to cross things off the list as I got them done. I love lists.:)

I love those glasses, he looks so grown up. I thought he looked different when I saw him on his bike today. Anyhow, I love the rug...where did you get it? We're needing a new one...ours looks well used.

We are finally better. Tagg ended up having a DOUBLE ear infection! Can u believe it?

Those glasses look nice on Parker. Cute picture of him too!

Your rug looks great in your home. The "Organization Bug" started to kick in for me too. We spent Saturday at IKEA getting new beds for the boys and a crib for our new girl. Our house is a mess but it will be nice to have beds for all the boys. Good luck with the "Organization Bug." Everything you do ends up to be adorable!

I can't believe you only have 7 weeks left! That seemed to go by really quickly! Yeah for babies. I love your new carpet! The color is so nice. I think that's got to be my favorite color for a carpet- not too light and not too dark. Just right!

You're going to have to tell me all about your cloth diaper decision and how it goes when you try it. It interests me on an environmental and budgetary level, but I'm not sure I will be motivated enough to actually do it when/if we have another diaper-wearer!

I love the carpet too. Where did you get it? And Parker looks great in his new glasses!

Which room are you going to put the baby in? (Sorry, I'm just full of questions today.) :)

I love that picture of Parker, he looks so handsome with those glasses!! I had no idea that you got a custom made rug...it really looks great in that room. Plus, yay for not having to move the couch back into place all the time.

Parker looks great in his new glasses! I love the family room too.

I haven't seen you in forever, maybe there is a girl's night in our future?

New carpet is exciting. It looks really good, and so does Parker! I might post a picture of myself wearing glasses, but we'll see.

Love the new carpet! Isn't it amazing how it seems to add footage to your space?

Parker's glasses are great and if you need new ones (hopefully not for a long while!), I recently got a new pair online and they have been great so far and are much less expensive!

Anyway, I can't believe that there are only 7 weeks until baby #4 makes his/her debut! Hope you guys are doing great!
