Fun In the Sun Festival

Last week Dallin's teacher sent home a flier advertising the Fun In the Sun Festival put on by Mesa Public Schools Early Childhood Department. Always looking for free entertainment, we headed over today to see what fun activities the kids could try. The festival was held at Countryside Park and at first the kids just wanted to play on the playground toys. But, once they heard about the fruit loop necklace booth they were off the playground and stringing away. There were a dozen different activities set up at ramadas around the park and the weather was great (when you were in the shade). This is the first year we've heard of this festival, hopefully we can find out if they're doing it again next year, I'm sure the kids would love to come back!

Thanks so much for telling us about this. It was a lot of fun, after Lyssa decided to enjoy herself, and so informative. My head is buzzing with ideas right now.
