Parker likes to watch a show on PBS called "Fetch with Ruff Ruffman". On the show they have a group of kids do different challenges to earn points against each other. Last Friday, the challenge for two of the kids was bowling. During the show Parker asked, "When can WE go bowling?" (in a very life-is-not-fair, whiny voice of course). To which I replied, "I don't know, I'll have to think about it." (He hears that a lot!) So as I was thinking about it, he set up his own little bowling alley in the hallway. He had already decided that a golf ball was going to be the bowling ball and together we came up with the idea to use little board books for the pins. The game got rolling as soon as McKay figured out that it was not in his best interest to knock the books down with his hands!

I think we have a bowler in the house! Look at that form!

Looks like fun! Watch for the AMF bowling coupons in the coupon mailer. You can get a free lane and then you just have to pay ($3 each) for shoes.
He DOES have pretty good form!:P Bowling is fun. My dad always used to take me when I visited him in the summers!
Nice Pics! Looks like McKay is ready to throw a fast ball at the books!
Hi Stephanie,
I can't believe you found our blog. Your boys are adorable. I think of you often and also have wondered how you are. Having our fourth child has kicked my butt, but I love it. There is no rest for the weary these days. I have added you to my favorites.

That was so creative of Parker. At least you won't need to go to the bowling alley any more! They all look so happy!
