Happy Birthday Lucks

Parker decided that Friday was his bunny Lucks' birthday. He made a pinata for the birthday party out of a Target bag, some donated candy (from my stash reserved for the Cub Scouts), and a rope he likes to play Tarzan with. He tied the bag up in the tree and came back inside looking for a blindfold. I told him that Dad kept a couple handkerchiefs in his drawer and that he could use one of those. What did he come back with? One of my wool sweaters tied around Dallin's head. It was quite amusing but not what I had in mind for a blindfold. Luckily, I was able to find the handkerchief and the sweater was spared. The boys had fun taking turns swinging at their pinata, using the t-ball stand as their stick.

Toward the end of the pinata bashing, Dallin decided that it was his cat's birthday too. So we made some cupcakes to complete our celebration!
