The laying hens were evicted a week and a half ago. We were sad to do it, but they were becoming more stressful than we had bargained for. The clucking was beginning earlier and earlier each day and once, they even started clucking in the middle of the night! They had also figured out how to get into our neighbors yard and we didn't want our neighbors upset at us. So they moved over to Aaron's dad's house. They'll have lots of friends there and hopefully won't be too much trouble. Someday we'll find a house where we and the chickens can get along.

Yay for no more chicken poop on the grass and porch!! Kimble will be so sad, though.
That's sad, but I'm sure it was a good experience. I love the chicken coup, did Aaron make it? We live in a neighborhood where a lot of our neighbors have chickens and we really want them, but we have to figure out an enclosure first!
