Here are just a few pictures from the last couple months:
McKay came home from preschool wearing this giant valentine. He wouldn't keep it on for a picture though so Dallin offered to model it while holding his latest Lego creation.
The boys all brought home lots and lots of candy. They spread it out on the table and just started eating. I adopted Aaron's thinking and just let them go at it until they got sick, except they didn't get the chance to get sick this time because when I found a lollipop stuck to my new rug I threw the rest of the candy in the trash!
Aaron has continued to work diligently in his garden. Yes, it is definitely his garden. He does all the watering, weeding, mulching, planting, etc. on a daily basis. Here are the potatoes that he dug up in February.
And this is a picture of the bottom of the cherry tomato plant. This plant has been amazing. Aaron started it from seed and it is now around five to six feet tall. There are little green tomatoes all over it and I can't wait until they're ripe, they taste delicious! He's also planted another section of garden along our east wall. So far he's put in corn, grapes, pumpkins, strawberries, blackberries, and watermelon. We're hoping for a great return on our seed investment, as long as the chickens don't take care of our little plants first!
All the boys were very well behaved for me last week, especially Parker. I told Aaron last Sunday to make sure he turned in our tithing because I needed the blessings that would come from it. Sure enough, it was a great week. There was lots of obeying right away and the boys all played together nicely. They've been keeping busy building all sorts of Lego creations and have great imaginations.
Aaron, Parker, and Dallin have also started rehearsing for the Easter Pageant. Saturday they left around nine-thirty in the morning and didn't finish until around four in the afternoon. I've been unsure as to how Dallin would do since he has a much different personality than Parker. Aaron said that while he didn't show any emotion or do the actions they were rehearsing, he didn't complain and stayed where he was supposed to. He was the most excited about getting his costume. I'm hoping that he'll stick with it and continue to go without putting up a fight.
Parker has such a sweet testimony and loves to bear it every chance he gets. I know it has grown as he's felt the spirit through the Easter Pageant over the last two years. I'm hoping that Dallin will be able to feel that same spirit and learn to love bearing his testimony as well.
I'll try to continue posting updates as I'm able. Each recovery is a little different, but all are long and hard. Please keep us in your prayers!
