McKay has done so well this year in preschool. His teacher was Miss Melissa and she was so fun and did lots of cute projects with the kids. She was a little worried about McKay's age (he started when he was still 2) but always said he did great. They had a preschool graduation program last week, but McKay didn't want any part of it. He sat (or tried to sit, I was holding a sleeping baby) with me during the entire program. No amount of coaxing was going to get him into his chair. The kids all did a great job reciting poems, singing songs, and even saying the Preamble to the Constitution. I'm glad we went even though McKay wasn't. He'll have two more years of preschool before kindergarten and plenty of chances to be in programs with his friends. I'm so thankful for the learning experiences he's had so far and for the friends he's made along the way.
